Nikki Dixon is a Houston native who has embarked on a spiritual journey practicing Yoga and Mediation rooting herself in the traditional practices of OUR ancestors. She began The Rose Garden as an outlet to get reconnected with her love for writing to express herself when she is not dancing. Making the decision to begin writing again was a way to step out of her comfort zone and take a chance on herself; "When words fail and my body isn't in tune with the music I know I can always pick up pen and paper." The Rose Garden is designed to uplift people of color, be a n outlet, and support system to inspire others to take a chance on themselves and get back to what it is they love to do. " If I can touch at least one person I know I am on the right path." In the process of inspiring others she continues seeking truth and light to remain inspired and motivated. Nikkis' only wish is to share her journey, thoughts, and growth. Aspiring to be a beacon of light and spark growth in others.
