Adding resistance to your fitness routine helps avoid plateaus. When I walk or do my kickboxing workouts, I like to add weighted gloves like these from @xtraedgegloves. In addition to the gloves themselves being weighted, each glove also contains a removable 1/2lb weight, so I can start with the lower resistance and work your way up. It helps burn more calories, increase heart rate, and improve muscle tone.
