Bio

Sam Bugg brings 12+ years experience in science and communications. He holds a double major in Zoology and Journalism from Miami University of Ohio. He completed a Master's in Environmental Science with a Public Information concentration, also at Miami.

He's served in various PR / public outreach roles for several organizations, most recently at Shedd Aquarium, the American Cancer Society and Ogilvy. He has a proven track record of increasing the impact of public outreach campaigns and fundraising efforts. Some of his skill set includes: public relations, community outreach, fundraising, writing, project management, strategic planning, and public speaking.

He is the founder of SB4, a consulting business aimed at helping clients with their communications, fundraising, and freelance needs.

When not working on clients’ behalf through SB4, Sam enjoys spending time with his wife and two dogs in the Colorado outdoors. He can most likely be found skiing, swimming, fly fishing, biking, camping, or hiking around Denver or in the mountains.
