Bio

Candy Marx, Plantfed Mama, is a New Zealand-born Writer, Author, Plant-based Nutritionist, Master Herbalist, an Award-Winning Fashion Footwear Designer and Entrepreneur turned Social-Entrepreneur, currently residing in Sydney, Australia. Her interests lie heavily in veganism, holistic health, ethical design, conservation, health and wellness, animal welfare, humanitarianism and spirituality.

Marx is the founder and writer behind plantfedmama.com, plantfedmana.com and is the author behind the book, Plantfed Mama's Holistic Guide to a Vegan Pregnancy. Marx is also the host of the PLANTFED SOUL Podcast series, which was formerly known as The Conscious Blog.

In late 2017, Marx became an Ambassador for W.I.R.E.S Wildlife Rescue.

A passionate conservationist, Marx is a recent graduate in Marine Science, and Shark Biology and Conservation. With a background in Investigative Writing, Marx later studied Creative Writing and wrote two novels under a pseudonym. She holds a Diploma of Nutrition, an Adv. Diploma of Master Herbalism, Certificate of Immunology, and has also studied Holistic Nutrition, and Reiki 1, 2 & 3. She is currently earning a Diploma of Naturopathy, and Diploma of Immunology.
