In the summer of 2020, at least four different girls came forward to accuse Hype House member Tony Lopez of requesting nude photos or otherwise behaving sexually inappropriately towards them when they were underage. Now, two anonymous plaintiffs have alleged sexual battery against the 21-year-old TikTok star, claiming he solicited them as minors. (It’s not known whether the two are among this last year’s accusers.) The plaintiffs also accused Hype House founders Chase Hudson and Thomas Petrou of negligence.

According to TMZ and a screenshot of the complaint posted by Twitter user DefNoodles, “H.L. Doe” and “C.H. Doe” claim Lopez used social media to coerce them into sexual encounters. H.L. claims she engaged in sexual acts with Lopez on two ocassions in January 2020, when she was 15. C.H. claims she met Lopez in April 2020 when she was 16, and that he allegedly asked for nude photos, sent her a nude photo of himself, and attempted to coerce her into unlawful sexual acts. Lopez denied the allegations to TMZ.

"These allegations are not at all true. I never sent nudes to these women and didn’t ask them to send me pictures either. And, I certainly wouldn’t have sex with someone who told me they were underage,” he says in the statement. "This whole thing seems like a money grab to me. I’m going to fight it to the very end. I will not allow them to continue to slander my name and attack my character."

In August 2020, however, Lopez seemed to reference some potential wrongdoing, tweeting, “I am still new to entertainment/LA scene, and am quickly learning that you can’t believe everything you are told. Once I found out the truth, I immediately stopped.” He didn’t say what he stopped doing.

The details of the allegations against Hudson and Petrou are unclear. DefNoodles reports that the pair have been accused of negligence, and TMZ says Petrou invited C.H. to the Hype House in April, when she was first introduced to Lopez.

Lopez, Hudson, and Petrou did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
