New Haven County COVID-19 Update and 3-D Bail Bonds Agents
On August 9th, New Haven County was put into a new mask mandate. This change came after New Haven County was moved into one of the most severe COVID-19 transmission rankings given by the federal government. Five Yale-New Haven Hospitals have seen a large increase in COVID-19 cases, mostly of unvaccinated individuals affected by the more severe Delta Variant. COVID-19 patients are currently 14 times more than they were when New Haven County was at a low point in the pandemic. In an executive order given by Ned Lamont on August 6th, municipalities have the power to establish mask requirements to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Masks will be required in all public and indoor spaces throughout the county. It will apply to all establishments, whether guests are vaccinated or not. The mandate will stay in effect until it is terminated. Along with this mandate, New Haven bars will start to require guests to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test before they are allowed entry into the establishment.
This will begin on August 13th, and the test will have to be taken within the last 72 hours from entering the establishment. All of these requirements and mandates will be taken and put into place to stop the rising number of COVID-19 cases found in New Haven County.
