Bio

I am a 20 year old aspiring commercial pilot with a passion for aviation. As of January 2019, I am a full time airline cadet and part time blogger/adventurer. I spend a lot of time outside, exploring everything from beaches to the new cafe. My blog shares these aspect of my life with a focus on just how cool it is to fly a plane. I am also growing two key sub-categories to the blog aside from the flying aspect. The first is "Awesome Humans", where I will be interesting the influential aviation professionals I am exposed to, and the second is a networking topic, that provides ideas and suggestions on how to break into the industry as a student.

This year, I have a monthly column in Australian Aviation which will be commencing in the next issue being released on the 1st of March. This column will focus on life in the cadetship and will directly draw my target audience to the blog.

As an aviation professional, I am using this blog to show how interesting and achievable getting into the aviation industry is. I am able to showcase a unique perspective as a cadet which will draw in the younger generation whilst connecting more mature readers with the future of the industry. My Bachelor of Aviation, my experience in networking and my full time flight training course backs up this marketing structure.

As of the 6/1/2019, my Instagram has 1100 followers, 500 profile hits per week, 180 likes/post and 400 views/story. My blog has received a total of 5700 hits including at least 200 views per post and 30 views per day. My audience is mostly Australia, with Instagram recording 67% in Brisbane and 73% in the 18-24 year old age group.
