Bio

Artist Gailani is a self-taught contemporary artist living in Muscat, Oman. An Art personality and influencer on the Art Scene in Oman, he manages and markets art related events, curates exhibitions, judges art-competitions, and also exhibits his own collection. Gailani is the founder of Gailani Art Retreat a creative escape that uses art and music for self-discovery. He is dubbed as the “debating artist” and a curator for "spiritual art" and is associated with Art that is self-reflective and with a social message.

Gailani has Successfully organized and curated Art100x100 for two consecutive years that united 100 artists donating 100% of their painting's revenue to Cancer Awareness. His art retreats have engaged over 600 participant in over 42 art retreats conducted in Muscat since 2012x

He is a judge "Portrait of a Nation" completion judging over 900 painting annually of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos done by school children of Oman. He won the 2014 Gold Award for the best website in Art & Culture in Oman, and in 2016 he won Silver Award for the best Social Media Campaign for Gailani Art Retreat at Oman Tech Awards

He is also a guest lecturer on “Art & Self-Expression ” at art forums, art colleges and schools.
