Bio

Driven by love of the music and a calling to create new original sounds & fresh tunes to play at underground parties, Long Beach California Native and High Order Events [Hidden Jungle/Drumslinga,L.A.] founder Pat Wilson (aka Darkitect) has been crafting & performing his signature dark & rhythmic dancefloor drum and bass style since the early 2000's. He is also responsible for throwing some of L.A.’s popular cult renegade afterhours parties, Hidden Jungle, which famously rocks from sundown to sunrise and Drumslinga, a weekly Drum & Bass showcase known to feature up-and-coming talent in the LA drum & bass scene alongside local veterans and headliners which grew largely up to the start of the pandemic.

While promoting and planning events will always be a part of my path, creating dark melodies and grimey dnb dancefloor vibes was always the primary focus; a focus which has helped me evolve my hip-hop influenced dark dnb style and production to the sound you hear today. A True Los Angeles drum & bass soldier, I have both hosted as well as played at some of LAs biggest dnb/bass music shows playing alongside legendary international artists such as Dillinja, DJ Nookie, Bachelors of Science, Command Strange, and Mampi Swift to name a few... Also, I recently started a new imprint Drumslinga Audio Distribution Ltd. to showcase the music of the talented producers, DJs & artists in LA & So. Cal to showcase the sounds & help support the future of Los Angeles and Stateside Drum & Bass as a whole.
